Most people use the hand brake to preload the drive train and provide roll control.

Otherwise, you would install it as you would on any other vehicle, by placing it hydraulically in series with the brakes you want to be able to lock. The line lock will lock the line when power is supplied to the solenoid.

Wire as such: Battery/Fuseblock 12V+ -> Fuse -> Momentary Contact Switch -> Line Lock Solenoid -> Chassis

If you want an indicator light, you can tap into the circuit between the switch and solenoid, and run a line to a light, and the other side of the light to chassis ground.

The button on the steering wheel seems alot easier. Do u put on front and back or just front. I would use the the ebrake but would take away the racheting. This car is not a daily driver so it could work. Thanks

A line lock would not be the way to go if you are wanting roll control. A line lock will simply allow you to have full brake pressure (on) or no brake pressure (off). A line lock is great for doing burn-outs but not staging up at the line. I think what your looking for would be a staging brake which will allow you to moderate your brake control. Check out CNC brakes as they have a full line of them.
