Does anybody know if there are any differences in the steering racks between a FWD turbo eclipse and an AWD turbo eclipse? I have a 91 AWD with a bad steering rack and a good one that came out of the same year car but FWD. I just thought I would ask before I go messing around with trying to do the swap and end up tearing a bunch of stuff apart for nothing. If anyone knows off the top of your head please let me know. Thanks much in advance. :dsm:

Yeah, they both are from manual trans'. That's awesome. I think I will go ahead and give it a shot. Thanks for the replies, ya'll. I'll let you know if it works if anyone is interested.

Not sure but CAPS does show a different part number for a/t and m/t steering rack.

Ive pulled 2 from the junkyard and never payed any attention to whether they came from auto or manual. One is in my car and the other is in a friends car. I guess I will have to keep an eye out for both and see if there is any physical differences.
