Think some Mustang Calipers and rotors could be made to fit with a little work?

I think the best reply is; where's the write up on this swap? :D

Definitely looks awesome though.

how little "work" is needed? easier than 3kgt brakes?
Are those bolt on? these are not

The bracket needs a cut off wheel and drill to fab.

So its bolt on the bracket, and mod the stock line. If you know how to use a flare tool its easy.

I'm going to do some tweaking tomorrow, then i'll try to make a plan for the bracket. If it could be printed out and put on a blank piece of metal, it'd be real easy.

It doesn't appear the caliper and pads are positioned fully over the friction surface of the rotor.

There are multiple guys up here who did the Mustange Cobra brake swap. Believe their basically the same as the Baer big brake kit for our cars with 2 piston calipers & 13.2" rotors. A local guy made up the caliper relocation brackets & then the hub centric rings for the rotors for them, though don't know if he still does this.

while the gap looks large between the center of the rotor and the pad surface, it only needs to move in about 1/8". I wanted to at least get a pic before i quit for the night.

I was planning on having to center the rotor on the hub, but i actually had to really squeeze the rotor on there. I don't know if its because i have abs or the rotors are aftermarket.

I got the whole setup on ebay for a little over 100 bucks if i recall right. calipers, rotors, ebc pads.

They're from the 99 to 03 Mustang Cobra, could be as far back as 95 but I don't remember for sure.
