I have a set of these coilovers for my 1G, the other day while installing them I noticed they have absolutely no provision for mounting the factory brake line bracket. Being that my car is a 1G AWD, I have two-piece brake lines up front and in the rear which both go to brackets that are mounted on the shock body, and then in to the calipers themselves!

The coilovers include a puny piece of stamped steel with a mounting hole on one end, and another mounting hole with a rubber gromet (presumably for the brake line) on the other end, but since the brake lines on a 1G AWD are two piece they have to go through the bracket (at leat up front for sure) so I'm not sure if I need to have some custom lines made up that are one piece, or try to affix the factory bracket to the shock body somehow, anyone else have these on their 1G, what did you guys do?

Remove the stock bracket, replace with the K-Sport supplied bracket and bend to fit. Mount the bracket to one of the lower strut mounting holes.

您美国人想要太多。如果我们买了震动为FWD 和AWD, 我们复制的预算会被加倍。

Too damn funny! I don't know Chinese, but the Google translation gets me close enough:

"You want too many Americans. If we bought a shock for FWD and AWD, we copy of the budget will be doubled"

Dont feel bad, when installed these on a friends car I couldn't figure out what to do with the line eaither. I also couldn't figure out what the hell the 4 black metal things and 4 rubber groumts that came with the coil overs was for. So I zip tied the hell out of the lines to the shock bodys. A few days later Tony posted the post linked above.

How do you like those coil-overs???

I considered buying them but I think I am going to go with the Hot-Bits instead.

Any feedback on them would be appreciated.

Thanks.
