GreenBelt,
can someone please tell me why my freaking car sits twice as low in the front as in the back? my suspension mods are these over priced B&G springs 1.6". for $265 my car should ride and sit a whole lot better then this? i have a 2" gap in the front and a 4" in the rear?

Maybe because the weight of your engine, or because it was a 1.6 drop on both sides.. I dunno.. I'm not too smart on suspension.. but I do know that the awds sit higher in the rear b/c of the suspension and drivetrain and stuff...

*shrug* wish i could help..

No, I'm kidding. I remember you asked this question before and that is the response I gave you. In fact, I accused you of parking "gangsta' style" and you didn't know what that was. Parking "gangsta' style" is backing into every parking place you find so that when "the s**t goes down", you can get outta there in a hurry! :D

Anyway, to answer your question, that is the stock setup. If you want, go measure your car. Use a tape measure and measure from the center of the wheel to the fender lip. I think my AWD was about 15" in front and about 15.75" in the rear in stock form. Measure and tell me what you get. If you are close to mine, I'd say its stock. If you want to change it, lowering springs don't always give you the desired result. I am currently sitting at 14.75" front/14.5" in the rear, adjustment accomplished with coilovers.

yup that sounds rite most after market spring and shocks combo's will give you that result lower in the front and higher in the rear 1 because oem they come like that as well as the after market's usually about a 1'' to a 2'' difference and the only way to try to correct is with coilovers so that you can adjust the ride yourself

thats what i was thinking, coilovers is the only way to correct that. it just looks horrible like it is now.
