Megan 1G Coilovers on order...

well after searching the forum, i only saw 2 posts about megan coilovers. And 50% of the replies were asking about a 1g version.

Well about a week ago they came out with a 1G version. I work for a company that is a big distributor for Megan, and they let us know about them as soon as they became available. So I just got off the phone with them, and ordered a set.

Hopefully they'll be here in a week or so, and hopefully i'll get them installed in time before the snow flies to take it for a drive.

I'm excited though, 10k front and 8k rear, front camber plates, and of course 32 levels of adjustment and pillow ball upper mounts.

I'll try and do a write up ASAP, but i guess they sold their whole first shipment, and the second one is about 8 weeks away, so i guess they are pretty in demand.

we've got 4 sets out there already. Including a set that Curt Brown is on.

We did the proto-typing for Megan on these and worked with them every step of the way and are very happy with the end result. The very first "final" version fit real nice and feel great.

I highly recommend them.

Yeah i read all your input in the other two threads...and i valued it. In no way am I implying no one else knows anything, but all of the negative input came from non "wisemen" or anybody else with legit credibility.

No one has had these installed on their car yet, except for you, who witnessed the fitting and development of these coilovers. Not to mention, as a vendor, you aren't going to put your name on a product that you believe to be junk. Its probably not worth it to you.

I'm very excited to install them and believe they will be a good product.

Just was wondering how the setup worked out, or if anyone else has had experience with these Megan's on a 1g?

I was also wondering about the rates. They seem extremely high: 12k/10k for the Megan's compared to D2's 9k/7k rates?

Ive been reading reviews on Nissan and Evo forums about these things holding up well compared to K-sports. Can someone with experience please jump in.
