I over power my tires in both hard and medium corners with my bone stock TSI AWD. My tread is low on the rears, but I experience both over and under-steer with liberal gas-pedal use. I will run 225's when I upgrade tires, but that will require wheels too, and I want to snag 13.5# 16's, which will hit me for like $1000 plus for the package. Now, if I snag sway and strut bars, will I see a bigger difference? I can't run soft tires with my 31.4 mile commute each way, and I am fine with the looks of the stock wheels, so another set of 205's would be fine if my suspension could tune out the other crap. So, run according to the tuning guide or forge new ground?

I say buy my 16" TRmotorsport wheels and 225 yokohamas, $500. You'll still be able to afford the suspension too :thumb:

Seriously though I really do recomend going up to a 225. 205s are just too small for a 3,xxxlb car that will be driven even somewhat hard. A lot of Camry's come with 205s, nuff said.

Go with good summer tires as soon as the winter is over. They'll perform better in the dry. I had the same problem when I first got the car and they had shitty all-seasons on. The car would understeer badly if I went into a corner fast, and if I punched it I could kick the rear end out a little. I bought a set of Yokohama A520s and the car corners and feels much better. I'm sure I hook up better when launching as well.
