Hello
I am working on installing the Comp. Engineering/Moroso roll bar (8-pt) in my 92 TSi. I have the bk seats, ft seats, carpet, sound deading, dash, center consol etc. all out of the car. 1st question: people that have done this cage before, does the main hoop sit on the floor with the drivers seat? Or on the hump where the passanger's seat would go?
The VFaq seems like it shows it on the passanger seat hump but I cannot tell for sure (crappy pics). There is a pic on the site (a members car) that's red and black with 4 hoosier slick's and an orangish-red painted cage that looks like he has the main hoop on the floor.
Also, there are 2 struts that go from the hoop that are suppose to hit the subframe connectors. (see pic of cage). I don't have subframe connectors and I wasn't planning on buying them. Is this very necessary??
Thanks

Mods: I didn't realize that I was a proven member which is why I initially posted this thread in the "new" section. It got no replies. I am letting it fall off the main page and am posting here hoping someone will reply to it. Sorry for the double post.
