ALl the posts I've read were for 2gs FWD or 1g AWD, never found one with these questions for a 1g FWD.

With that said....

I will soon be lowering (Eibach Sportlines w/ KYB AGXs) my 1g GST. My questions are these. The camber will be thrown off, I am looking forward to it. However, Eibach doesn't carry a camber correction kit for 1gs as they do for 2gs, or if they do I haven't been able to find it. I have found camber correction plates at RRE for the front and some bolts for correction at Buschur (which doesn't specify if they are for FWD or AWD). I read somewhere that the toe angle gets messed up in the rear, how is this supposed to get fixed if the only problem solvers I can find are for the front only? After I do the install, I will definitely get the car aligned, is there anything else I can do or that I need to do?

Edit: Don't buy Sportlines. Other than that, bolt up the springs and whatever shocks you like, get an alignment and drive.

If you get a rear kit from SPC, the toe and camber are adjusted together, so you would just need to find the best compromise between the two (which isn't too hard)

if it is front wheel drive, why would he need awd camber adjustment control arms??

and no, your camber will not be thrown off, front or back. it will need an allignment, but don't expect it to be off by much. you have a sweet beam in the rear, and the way the front is set-up, you need some type of camber adjustment to GET the right amount of negative camber.

So all I will need are those bolts shown in the second link and an alignment and I should be good to go? Sounds too easy but whatever you guys say. Thanks for the info.

you shouldn't even need those. your front toe might be off, but the way the 1g front suspension is, lowering it does little in the way of negative camber (hence the need for plates...to ADD the neg. camber).
the rear is some type of beam, and again, camber and such will not be affected.

so lower away, don't buy anything else (yet), get the allignment done, and enjoy.

Nice post. If anyone cares, the technical way to say what Stirpicult said is: "struts in general, and the front ends of 1G DSMs in particular, have nearly-flat bump-camber curves." The positive of this is that you don't need to correct camber after lowering. The negative is that it you lose almost as much camber in a turn as the amount that the body rolls.
