spyder suspension suggestions

Hi im new to the site and have been browsing the forums for a couple days. What i wanted to get some opinions on was a coilover set up for a 97 spyder. if i had the money i would prolly get some GC's with some tokico illuminas, but i dont.... waht i was wondering was if i went with the illuminas and just got some *less expensive* coilovers.. How will it affect teh ride? From what ive been researching, people seem to stress getting the shocks first and everything. I am only keeping my auto/ non turbo spyder for another year or two until i graduate so i dont wanna invest too much money into it. opinions are greatly appreciated.

Just get the pro-kits for the spyder and you won't have to worry about a shitty ride like you'd prob get from some cheap a*s coilovers.
