I ask this question because I believe I installed this set up on my car yesterday. I was first told they were the tien ss set up but was very surprised to see a red strut tower and red springs (definatly not tien), need less to say they weren't tiens.

The coilover set up was pulled of a shell that previously dynoed 608whp so the guy had some money to spend. My search has only found one site that still lists the price for them. I have only been into dsm's for 3 years now and have never heard of Gab shocks. I have searched for Gab shocks but the set up I have now isn't your ordinary strut/spring combo.

The shocks are 4 way adjustable in the front and 8 way in the back. The coilover sleeve is built into the strut and has dual springs with a metal aluminum pillow mount that has GAB insribed into it. Anyone have a idea what these are worth or what they were worth? There are VERY stiff but I do like the ride. Handing has been greatly improved over my shitty blown stock shocks.

my friend had GAB's on his Laser before he wrecked it. This was back in 95 or 96 before KYB came out with the AGX's. If I believe correctly, KYB makes GAB, it's like a higher product line or something. Like I mentioned before, the AGX is a similar but lower quality shock but close enough that very few people would probably pay a couple hundred more dollars for the GAB's

I have kinda got that impression with my searching for just KYB equivalent shocks butI know for a fact these aren't your run-of-the-mill GAB adjustable shocks. The coilover sleeve is actually built into the strut tower.
