If I understand correctly you can remove a certain valve that limits steering assistance, giving you maximum assistance at all times. I read this is good for autocrossers making constant snappy transitions.....

Would this mod be reversable, making it so that the steering assitance would be some what minimul at all time? I like a heavier wheel personally.....

dang it, maybe a mod can change "cruise control" to "power steering" in the thread title for me......

[I was wondering what in the hell you were typing about.]

I don't see why not. Pull off the upper hose from the PS pump and see if you can wedge sometime to keep the valve partly closed all of the time.

i really don't under stand why you do this if you boil the fluid after 15 min. that seems kinda dumb and it is not a mod you do when you get to the track either.

While it is written awkwardly, It is my understanding that the by shimming the relief valve, you can boil the fluid, however by modifying the "reduction" valve in the manner he states, you're okay for regular driving... I plan to follow this faq in the near future... but its going to be difficult without the pictures... i have to check my manual CD and see if it has anything to help me out as far as this goes.

Unless anyone has a copy of the FAQ with the pictures?
