Tower braces, anti sway bars, and all the others braces I can get to better body roll cornering proformance, what should I look for and who makes good products.

You're looking to make the car ride better, or increase stiffness? Stiffness contributes to a harsher ride.

If you're looking for a smooth ride, stay away from cheap coilovers, go with lowering springs and get a nice set of shocks.

I'd say stay away from lowering springs period if you looking for a smooth ride. Upgrade your sway bars, and add the strut tower bars for better handling. Lower the pressure in your tires or go back to 16" to smooth out the ride. Good shocks will help both ride and handling. Make sure the car wheels are aligned.

I agree, but I was assuming he wants a drop as most people do. The point I was trying to make was that lowering springs usually provide a much smoother ride than coilovers. Higher profile tires will absorb shock better as well. I went from 205/40/17's to 215/45/17's and noticed an improvement in ride quality.

No problem, but since he didn't ask about dropping the car, your post could be read as suggesting he do so to get a smooth ride. Lowering springs usually have higher spring rates and that will help handling but at the expense of some ride harshness and reduced shock travel.

I feel wierd for saying this in this forum, but if that's what you want then..., H- rated tires ride more comfortably due to softer sidewalls. Z- rated tires ride stiffer from the extra reinforcements that make them so durable at higher speeds. 205/55 X16 H rated tires with stock springs and blown shocks will give a grandma approved ride!

"looking to make the ride quality better"

1. Sell the 17's and set some stockers with 205/55 touring tires
2. Stress bars will not improve the ride quality
3. Most suspension mods will wake the ride more harsh, with the exception of anti-roll bars. RM makes some nice ones.
