ABS to non ABS hub swap

I crashed my car (92 laser awd) and bent up pretty much everything in the left suspension. I've got the left suspension fully disassembled on my car, and I'm now pulling the parts off my parts car(91 talon awd), but I realized that the parts car is an abs car and the hub seems to have some differences.

Can I swap the ABS hubs onto my car in place of the non ABS hubs with no problems?
 
Differences I've found so far:
There's a speed sensor that is easily removed and tossed.
There's a spoked ring behind the hub surface that is not so easily removed and tossed. It is held on by bolts that get in the way of putting on a non-abs rotor. You cannot leave these bolts off because the ring will bounce around freely.

My job for tomorrow is either finding a way to remove the rotor mounting surface (what the wheel studs go into) to pull the ring, or very carefully dremeling the ring to get it off.
 
And then I read the service manual and found that you have to have a special tool to safely press the hub into the knuckle and to remove it, and then I determined that it was impossible to cut through the ring to remove it, to bolt it in place and then cut off the bolt heads, or to drill holes through the rotor to make room for the bolt heads. I'm going to have the alignment shop press out the hub and pull the ring off for me.
 
Long overdue followup-
I ended up cutting the ring to get it off. A combination of cutting it with a dremel using outsized fiberglass-reinforced discs and cutting it by hand with a hacksaw blade allowed me to cut through to the center without damaging the hub. I then cut the ring a couple of teeth over to open up a gap and put the ring through a series of compressions and expansions until the metal fatigued and it snapped into two pieces. Perhaps not the easiest way to get it off, but I didn't have to pull the hub, so I was happy with the result.

With that ring gone, the hub has worked fine. Swapping the suspension pieces on the front left fixed the crash damage, much to my relief.
 
Caithness > If you don't mind me asking, what was the reasoning behind all this work? Was it just get rid of the ABS function? I've got ABS on my car, but just basically removed the speed sensors and all the wiring, but it's all still apart, so if there's any other reason to remove all that I might consider the extra work, or was it just because one hub was ABS, all the others werent?
