i just bought hawk brake pads and power slot rotors, and i will be installing them this weekend, from what i've read its a straight foward job, just wondering if their is anything i should know before installing them like tips or anything

Bleed your barke fluid on all 4 corners. This way, you'll start completly fresh.
Also, be sure to push your brake pedal a few times (like 10 times) after you're finished with everything BEFORE you drive the car an inch.
This way, your new pads, rotors, and fluid will automatically adjust the floating caliper to situate itself in place.
 
always budget in at least 3 extra hours when working on a mitsubishi, and always, always have a spare car to go to the parts store for when you break something.

Keep beer consumption below 2 an hour.

check powerslots website to make sure the vanes on the rotors are facing the correct way, some manufacturers reccoment different things.

have a friend to help.

rubber mallet for getting the old rotors off.

thin coats of brakeclean to clean off the new rotors from handeling BEFORE the caliper goes on.

extra brake fluid.

DEFINATELY regrease the caliper pins.
