2G Are the stock rear disc brakes that much better than the drum brakes?

I have a 1995 Eclipse RS, and I'm slowly adding the GS accessories like the spoiler, side skirts, and fog lights. Now I'm thinking it might be nice to swap over to the rear disc brake setups than came on all the other models. But before I do I want to know if this is a good upgrade and a noticable improvement over the drums?

If this is a good upgrade, would it be a bolt in assembly? Anybody have a parts list to do the swap?

Realisticly you will notice absolutely no difference in brakeing ability.

If you want them I suggest you get the whole knuckle assy, brake lines and ebrake cables from a disc car and work from there. Also chances are you will need to swap out the master cylinder or at least the proportioning valve.

Hit the junkyards.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at a complete bolt in assembly, but for the minimal gain if any I don't think its worth the time or money. Thanks again
