JIC Magic FLT1-A1 Coilover's

I am considering the JIC Magic FLT1-A1 Coilovers for my daily driver that I like to drive hard on occasion and hope to one day drive on the track occassionally. These are JICs street use coilovers. Does anyone have any experience with these coilovers personally, "have a friend" or read any reviews? I am more concerned with getting the right suspension than pinching pennies. I do not want to spend more than $1500 if I can help it though.

I can honestly say I've heard bad things about these, but I can honestly say that I haven't ever known of ANYONE who's owned them.

Personally, if I recally, you can get Tein's FLEX line for about the same price, which is typically considered the top of the line street/track coilover by most (although some disagree).

Thanks for the info. I think you are right.

I just did some more googling, and figured out that even if they do perform OK that the company has horrible customer support. On that basis alone I just decided to exclude them from my list of options...

Time to do more research. Coilover research is tough. I am relatively new at this, and it is hard to get good reliable information even when you know what your application is.

The FLT-A1's are crap.

The new FLT-A2's are sweet.

Also be sure to check out Tein's Super Street Damper system for DSM's. They are no more than $1400 at most places.
