I do, with 500lbs springs in the front and 375 lbs. in the rear. They're ok, but my experience with aftermarket options is limited to only them, and I don't have the suspension terminology to discuss their characteristics. Heh they don't "seem" to handle these springs that well in different types of situations, but I don't know enough to be sure nor discuss the issues I think I have with them. :) Wow I'm useless hahaha. I'm sure one of the talkative suspension guys will pipe up on them.

I would really like to know also. I know konis are better valved for higher spring rates and drops. However considering this car will probaly never see a serious autocross course illuminas brand new for $340 shipped were hard to pass up when konis are $500+. Anybody have any springrates and drops that work decent w/ illuminas in regards to ground controls or lowering springs?

I have GC/tokico illum. on my car. The rides alot better than my previous setup which was with skunk2 coilovers. I set the shocks to 1, which suppose to be the softest damping, and the feel is sort of like stock. Also my car is lowered about 1.25 inch up front and 1.5" in back and I don't bottom out any. Plus I have 18 245/35 wheels and tires. When traveling though mountain zig zag roads I set them to 5. I feel alot safer traveling though corners than if my car had stock springs on. Hope that helps.

You have some pretty wide tires,, did you have to roll the fender?

Also, There weren't any spring rate number provided w/ your springs,, were there?

thanks alot for the feedback because i might switch up my suspension a little this week.!!!

No I was lucky enough I didn't have to roll my fenders. If my car was lowered another inch and a half it would probably rub. About the spring rate, I forgot what spring rate they were. But I remember calling ground control up, and talking to them about having a little stiffer spring rate than stock just alittle more performance.

If you are only going a little stiffer than stock, Illumnas are probably going to be fine.

They don't have the damping capability to handle a really stiff spring though.
