i live in minnesota and im wondering what do you think would be a better choice getting firestone firehawk sz50 for summer and blizzack lm-22 for winter or getting an all season tire such as Continental ContiExtremeContact

Thanks

In the winter, I prefer the Blizzak WS-50 to the LM-22. If you decide to go all-season (which I advise against), then take a look at the new Kumho ASX.

I have Sumitomo HTR+ all-seasons right now, and am pretty happy with them, but they're definitely not an autocross tire (I'm always a second or two off the folks running Kumho MXs and Falken Azenis, without fail). Wet/snow grip is decent, and they've been wearing well. The price was pretty good too when I ordered them from Tire Rack.

That said, I'm eyeballing a set of 17x9 wheels, and if I get them, they aren't going to have all-seasons on them. ;) (Mmm, 255/40/17 MXs...)
