Upper Tie Bar

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of a Upper Tie Bar? That is, not the regular tie bar that everyone has. I have that one already, but I want the one which is closer to the firewall...Does anyone know where I can get one?

are you wording you question, i have seen front and rear tie bars, then there is front and rear strut tower bars that everyone has. i think you might be asking for a sprint bar but i am unsure i have only seen one eclipse with a sprint bar

Yes I think so. I have seen one eclipse that had 2 tie bars. One that everyone has, and then one that is very close to the firewall...I have the regular one in the engine bay, but want one more, one that goes close to the firewall. Neuspeed sold them before for Eclipses, but I called them and they said they stopped selling them. See that he has two bars..I need the one that is closest to the firewall since I have the other one.

why do you want it so much, it doesnt look to me to serve any real purpose other then one more Chrome thing under your hood.

thats the first time i have seen that bar its not a sprint bar. but you already have a strut tower bar which is serving the same purpose as the other bar. now that is a nice looking engine compartment. you should read in the newb section about spray painting your spark plug cover it gets pretty interesting.

any ways that bar isn;t really do much considering its mounts are very good, looks to me you can make one yourself looks like electrical piping that was bent and the smashed on the ends had a hole drill through for mounting then it was sent out to be chromed

However, those pictures are old and does not have the new dress up stuff in the engine bay...

anyway, does anyone know where I can get that upper bar??? I want it badly, since it looks so dang nice...let me know. thanks
