is the rear caliper suppose to be facing the rear end of the car? mine is between the car door and the rotor, is this right? i see other cars are between their bumper and their rotor.

Fill me in please, thanks.
 
Front spindle, rear spindle.
Some cars are one way, some the other.
As for yours; depends on what you drive.
