This is the part autozone offers, Im still not sure if mine is bad though. What its doing is creeking real bad when i turn the wheel or hit a bump. But when i jack the car up and turn the wheel it doesn't make any noise.

What symptoms are you having that points to the ball joint?

i dont think the link will work here is the part number for autozone.

An entire front lower LCA for a 2G is around $30 from Conicelli. Just get the whole arm and be safer. At least, that's what I'd do.

Thats what I am saying.

Did you ever have the recall done for this when it came out R-U-QUIKR?

Ya I'm definetly ordering the whole arm from concelli. Does anyone know if you need to get an alignment after you replace this? Also do you have to remove the half shaft to get arm off, the nut for the ball joint is right under the half shaft boot. I may be able to get it off but theirs no way i can get a torque wrench on it to put it back together.

I already have had the recall done once before. As far as ordering from concelli I leave in calgary, alberta so the shipping, if even possible, could be a bit pricy. Also to be truthful I;ve never heard of them till now. Thanks for the input, I'll look into it.

Just do a search for concelli or www.partznet.com I would recommend them for all your dealer parts if you don't mind waiting for them to ship. the lateral arm was 32 and 7 bucks for shipping from cali to indiana. Not bad in my opinion. they want 116 for it at autozone and i would still have to wait.
