Well guys my friends and I can't make it this Saturday to the track....we planned on taking 3 cars but 2 are down. Anyways, there is a very big event coming up on Sunday Dec 16; car show, lots of racing, and alot of imports

Ive talked to a couple of guys and alot are interested in going...the event starts at 10am and ends at 5pm.
Ive sent pm's to a bunch of people...if you plan on going with us reply here so we can figure out what time to meet and where to meet.

Just for everyones info there is a 4g63/4g64 "jackpot".....basically if you have one of these 2 engines and you are the winner in this class you get 100% of the entry fees

If anybody needs more info let me know i'll be happy to help, since there is always alot of confusion about who's going and who's not I'm starting a list, if you plan on going just reply and add your name to the list.

Price will be $15 but if you print out this flyer, http://www.importfaceoff.net/San-Antonio-front.gif, you get $2 off lol. If you plan on racing its $20 and registration starts at 9am to race.

Hopefully we have a big DSM group this time.....there is one bad ass 1g awd that I met in San Antonio that is going to this....i'll post pics of his insane engine later.....

Ok guys there is going to be a very long line to this. We are meeting at 7am in San Marcos (the guys from Seguin, San Marcos, Austin, and surrounding cities) then from here we will head out to meet the guys in San Antonio at the store on Judson Rd (next to Sam's Club) this should be around 8am. Then from here we will head out to the track.

well today is the day of the face off. man oh man i wish i could go ,but unfortunately im working today and i wanted to ask if anybody is going and is bringing their video camera to put up some videos on the event. it would be very very appreciated. man i know its going to be a bad ass day at San Antonio raceway.

Lol yea my first time at the track. Man my car is sloooowww. The fastest I got was a 15.8 I put the video up with me and mattdev he ran a 14.5 the first time. Don't mind me just sitting there for 2.2 secs it was my first time out and I didnt have any idea what I was doing and I had some issues too lol

The quality sucks I guess cause youtube downconverts all the videos. I uploaded some more videos on youtube too They are all kind of short. I was using a digital camera and not a camcorder.

Lol. Yea about 90% of the people either backed out or had to work or something. We couldn't make it because our cars were down and my friends had to work.
Thats exactly how I was my first time at the track....you just have to get used to it and launch like mattdev!!!

That red supra in the pics had the biggest turbo I have seen lol. It was bigger than my head almost.

Lol. The guy with his arms crossed looking at the engine bay of the Supra is a guy I know that lives in San Antonio......he has an INSANE 1g Eclipse Gsx. He just finished his build but didn't take it to IFO, I think he wants to break it in some. Just to let you know how bad ass it is, Im guessing it could whoop the Pink Talon; and yea he also has a HUGE turbo in which I could probably fit

haha, thanks for the compliment I guess, haha. Like he said, you just got to get used to it. as long as you don't red light. That was my fastest of the day and couldn't get a better time. Good day, fun stuff. Should have a full turbo-back by the next race day...

i ran my new best. 13.3@105. i was in the black cherry 1g with the shocker sticker on the back window. i was granny shifting also due to a grinding trans...pretty good day. i could have gotten it lower but they closed the staging lanes...

well the pink eclipse took the 4g63 class, she run 10.5 at 136mph.
