DFW Club DSM

There are meets every now and then. Plenty of DSMs around here, but most are are either N/T or riced out here in Lewisville/Carrollton

I occasionally see a fellow DSMer at Ennis or Denton Dragways on the weekends. Ennis mostly, though, since it's 1/4 mile.

I'll be trailering my girl out to Ennis within a couple months, hopefully. Fingers crossed.

i live in springtown its about 35 min from ft worth. i go out to kennedale alot. i also go out to ennis and even san antonio for the idrc drag races. i wanted to find some more dsms around me to start a club if possible. i was in a laser rs turbo that was fwd i found a guy to trade me straight up for a tsi awd in fort hood.the only problem with that is that i had about 4000 in my fwd and unfortunately the awd only has a built block with an safc, act 2600 with a 6PUCK, greddy exhaust, i added the walbro 255 and some 650s and still only run 9.2 in the 8th. is that normal. i dont have the downpipe yet and this is my first awd to own. so whats up dsmers. holla at me if yall want to hang out some time. i hear that they have some street races on beach st. sat. nights. they meet at the whataburger parking lot about 10pm

Hm idk, im FWD and I have stock injectors, 255 fuel pump w/rewire, fpr, safc default settings, intake, cat back exhaust with no cat, and I run a 9.2 8th mile and I cant floor my damn car cause I hit fuel cut.

Hey, ive been to the 1/8th mile somewhere4 around here and the 1/4 at ennis. 9.2 sounds good to me, some of my friends are always bragging abot their 11's in their swapped hondas. but if your dissapointed you shouldnt be. You have the required mods to make some real power but you dont have the equipment to make a lot of power. Buy a big turbo. So anyways id really like to see some other people with dsm's. Anyone knowe when ennis is open to the public?

Well that 9.2 is with MAYBE 50% throttal so I think I could break 8's....every Monday in the mesquite/garland area there is a car meet, every kind of car comes last monday there was around 200 at one time then some leave some come back and forth. Starts around 830ish ends around 1030 1045. They have a deal with the cops and the parking lot oweners so its legal. Alot of different cars show up....FORD GT, new Z06's with NOS, Nissan Skyline Right hand driven, Supercharged Cameros, A couple eclipse's, I believe there is one AWD one then the rest are FWD and one has around 350hp. And of course alot of mustanges and SRT 4's but its good.

Everyone in the area should try to make it some monday.

Well i live in the Grapevine Colleyville area and i would really like all of us to try to get a meet going. I see GST's and GSX's all the time over here and i always wonder where all the meets are. Well if anyone knows of any in the DFW area holla at me cause i really want to go.

If you head to richardson on monday nights, there is a meet called the Ricekiller meet....it started out in garland and has gotten really big so they moved to a bigger lot. If you go to ricekiller.com you can find details on there of where exactly it is... im looking for a DSM meet I dont care much about all the other cars just us DSM's..

since no one has a dsm meet why don't we organize one? somewhere in the dfw area.

I am moving to fort worth the first of july, we definately need to have some dsm meets and make some new friends. I don't know if I'll be able to survive without any fellow dsmers

We should get a big meet in July or so. Im from Shreveport but dallas is only 2 1/2 hours a way so its no big deal for me to make it.

Yeah that would be awesome if we could get a meet somewhere down here. My car happens to be getting a new motor in it but it should be done soon. I know there are a lot of meets up at Beach st. in fort worth and some at royal ln. in dallas. Well if we can get this thing up and going that would be awesome. the ricekiller meet is a meet..... its in addison now they had to move cause so many cars.....

If any of you guys are looking for a Car meet you should come to Skoots on Spring valley and us75 on Thursday night people will start showing up at 8:30. So far its just my GST and one other guy who drives a TSI there. I hope to see more DSM up there.
