Good Fresno engine shop.

I need help with my 2g before I install some serious go fast parts. I need a leak down test done and why my car is getting 30+ knocks on 2-3 gears at 2.5-3k rpms.
Any trusted shops you guys use that's good to imports.
Price range? I don't have time to touch it anymore.

AMS (Auto Machine Specialists) is a pretty good place! Full of knowledge and they have done work on 4G63's before. They are very reasonable price wise. Just go in and be very specific on what you want done and they will take care of it for you! Do not go to Fresno Performance! They know nothing about our motors. They are just a bunch of v8 guys.

Are they located in fresno? I never heard of them. Thanks for the info. Do they diagnose cars also or do they just work on motors. Have you used them before?

I think Imight of blew a piston ring or bent a valve? Don't know???

You know you can always bring it by my shop. I have a leak down tester. What makes you think you blew your motor? (Ring or valve issue)
