1G 1g popup headlights go up and down when on.

Ok so my alternator went out and replaced it today. Once I turned it on, I turn the headlights on and they popped up and down continuously on their own for a couple secs then they stay shut. It looks as if I have a 1gb front end at night. Could there be a short or something? I know my wastegate ( open wastegate) melted the tape covering some wires going to the alternator. I checked to see if I peeled anything but thank god no.

I had this happen onetime on my first DSM maybe its related/maybe not. Just by the dimmer switch there is also another switch that activated the pop up head lights with out actually turning on the headlights themselves. That pop up switch has malfunctioned and was causing the headlights to contentiously cycle up and down. I unplugged that switch and the headlights retracted to the off position and the motion of opening and closing had stopped. Also, you can easily swap relays and see if that maybe the primary known cause of this to also be known to happen. Since they both operate at the same time evenly something is sending them power momentarily.

The weird thing is that they both wink one another if you know what I mean. Like each headlight goes up and the other down.
