Drove the car 2 hours up to Modern Automotive Performance this weekend for the Mitsustyle dyno day. Ended up making 624/500 on their Dynojet at 36 psi. (Not sure why it says 38 on their sensor)
Turbo is a JB T4 6262 with the .58 housing.
Tuned conservatively by MY1GDSM.

Mite convert to a t3 with a bigger housing this winter to gain some spool, also need some slicks and get rid of my big brakes up front so I can fit smaller wheels on. Wanted to get it to the track but the dyno day was the same day as the last track opening this year.

Sorry the video lost quality when I converted it to upload. I have a few more that I will get to uploading. :|

Here is a HQ vid of the pull ;)

EDIT: Tuners doesn't give the "HQ" option IDK... .

wow that exhaust mani heated up in a hurry, maybe its just the video, but that thing looks like it went from static to bright red in about 3 seconds.

That's a nice power curve for that little housing. But I don't think going to T3 would be worth the trouble for you. a .63 T3 may spool slightly faster but it'll make the same power curve. Hit or miss I'd say. If .82 T3 was the idea, then you'd be better off keeping your T4 and getting a .68. will flow the same or more and spool the same, without requiring you to change a bunch of stuff

Thanks! the car has two 255's in it with a hanger i made. I'm picking up some 16's for some Hoosiers soon! Hope to run it down the track at full potential but we all know the little things that can happen.

Where you at? Where the hell is lake mills? Like waterloo, or minnisota 2 hours worth of driving.

I'll go lay down a couple runs..I'm tuned by the same guy.I'll be happy with 250 for 2012.

Edit..Whoally crap..Thats definatly not a 2 hour drive from me:(

As in oil feed? I'm using the OFH I was having too much pressure until I shimmed the spring and ported my ofh then it was good. ? You could hear little beads of oil dropping into the exhaust housing and sizzling before I lowered my oil pressure.

This car is beautiful, thanks again for dynoing! Hopefully you can make it up for the spring dyno day at DB Performance. I'd love a ride in it. :thumb:

That's Correct ^

From logs of the car it hits:

19.4 psi at 5k
25.3 psi at 5.25k
30 psi at 5.5k (Varies between 25-30 in the 5.25-5.5k range depending on the pull)
34.4 psi at 6k
36 psi at 6.5k
An tops out about 36.4-6 ish in the 7k range dropping to about 35-34 before redline

You can see the boost curve in the sheet. But it never has hit 38 point anything before.

As said This was a fairly conservative tune. The car with a Bigger A/r Turbine housing. It would be easy to go bit more aggressive with out a issue :)
