Not a bad day back to the dyno with the holset with just a bigger intercooler 6 inch ets core. They car made less hp then before but more tq I guess we have to go to the track and see what happens next. 654 hp 618tq

40 psi yeah i think so i know the turbo is also maxed out we have pushed it way beyond its expectations.

That's 4psi less than your 685whp record . . . Does the old intercooler possibly flow more or is it cooling the charge so much that it's dropping the manifold pressure significantly???? I really would like to see a .70 a/r housing on this car. It would give the turbine more work potential to use on the turbine shaft so as to spin the compressor, and you would of course net much better overall VE. . . But that's if you even want to see how much more you can get.

Still, completely nuts for a .55 a/r bep turbine housing and a compressor with less inducer than a gt35r. Looking forward to the track results!!! Damn proud to see good results from those that go off the beaten path. This is what the dsm community needs to remain thriving. You don't see a honda with such results using a holset :)
 
Yeah I would have liked to see the turbo squeek out that extra 4psi to see where you really would have been. I know you want to up to the HX52 but like Matt said a .70ar housing would put you in the 700whp range easy but then again with the added lag you would be close to a hx52 anyway.

I didn't pay much attention to the chart. Looks like there is something breaking it up throguh the top there. There definately could be more in the setup as it climbs right until your graph starts to "wobble". I hope you figure it out!!!

nah this car was not tuned by top level i just used to work there. and wayne does tune dsmlink.
 
I read through the entire thread. According to the first video, the car has a ported head. Is this the only work done to it besides the addition of the 272s?
