Tranny question

i have a 95 talon awd turbo and the 1 gear syncro is going out. I looked into shepracing and found their rebuild kit the chepest. My question is if i am running low 11 and high 10 in the 1/4 mile what more will i need other than the $850 kit. Aslo if you know of any thing cheaper with equal quality please share.
