AUto FWD Tranny in a 94 Talon 1.8

Here is the deal, bought a 94 Talon DL 1.8 auto FWD with 126K on it. The car has no forward motion in it, but moves in reverse no problem. The guy I bought from said he put some lucas treatment in and drove for like three to six months no problem. Then the forward gears go out. Feels like it wants to pull no dice. Does this sound like tranny is shot or could it be the tranny control module??? I know I will probably end up pulling the tranny but if any way possible to fix without the removal, would like to look at those possibilities. Also have same problem in a 91 Galant LS with 133K on it.

Sounds like the trans is shot- there are not really any electrical possibilities that will cause no forward.
