just got a new act 2100 and after the drive home and a few trips around town the next day it is catching but just revving all the way up. does this in every gear. takes a long while for it to actaully accelerate. can the clutch be shot after 50 miles or did something else go wrong or was the tranny not put back on right. a guy on here had a similar problem and fixed it by adjusting clutch rod near gas pedal. can this be the problem . any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

My guess is that it is out of adjustment...it shouldn't be shot after 50 miles of driving...try adjusting it up under the clutch pedal...have fun..its a tight squeeze, but then again im a bigass dude. haha, good luck

as the other guys said she might need adjustment however how long have you had that slave and clutch master cylinder in? Now you have one hellacious pressure plate trying to be manhandled buy old parts. Think about it cheif. This would be worst case scenario or you might have to drop the tranny again if its neither. Good luck, its probably just a hick up.:thumb:

yeh definatly check the slave and master cylinder,we had a mits 3000 at the shop i work at that did the same thing and he went thru 3 clutches in two months because th slave cylinder wasn't returning back into place.idk check it out
