Bay Area,
yep, my axle broke, on my 95 NT. drivers side, i took it off the rotor but the connection between the tranny and axle is hard.

i've read many posts about it, but there is no room to just find a crack line and put a thin pry bar or something, this thing is a circle, with the axle in it, and you can only pull it like 1mm in and out, and there's no way to pry it, NT guys i need your help asap please!

lmk how you guys worked it out, cause im doing it as we speak and it's a pita!!!

thanks

just pry it,, it will come,, i stuck a large pry bar in that little gap between the part of the axle, and the tranny,, they can be snug, but pry on it,, it will pop out. it's just a tiny circle clip inside holding it. you wont break anything,, this is simple how you remove them.

thanks guys, it was a pita sorta, because of the lack of room i have, but it's out, now i have one more problem, and if you guys can help me out i will be on the road again in no time.

i have another post in the suspension forum, about ball joint repair... please take a look at it, and lmk thanks again!
