i first noticed this when i couldnt put the car in any gear besides second, they would just grind...i then realized that when i took my foot of the brake, the car started moving. i then just pushed the clutch as close to the floor as possible and then i began to just idle. i bled the system and adjusted the pedal under the dash, but no change...also, whenever i put it into reverse and try to move, i let the clutch out slowly and the entire front end of the car just shakes real hard...it also started to do that in second gear a couple of times. please help, i've been tryin to solve this problem for over a week now...thanks in advance

it was a new clutch when i bought the car, it was said to have 200 miles on the clutch...since then i have driven it about 600 miles.

does the shifter move back and forth a lot when in gear? if it moves more than an inch or too, you may have really loose shifter linkage like i did, causing you to put it in 4th every time you go for reverse. it took a special technique and about 10 trys to get mine into reverse.

If you bled the system correctly it should work. Check for leaks underneath the dash on the master cyl and your firewall. It could be a pedal assembly also. To check if the assembly is worn, push the pedal down and let it up...if you can pull the pedal up after its at the top of its stroke you have excessive play in the clutch pedal assembly and you need to change the shaft and lever or have it welded.

Other than that it could be a variety of things.

--Disc or pressure plate
--master cyl adjustment
--TOB
--Incorrect Step height on flywheel
--Slave Cyl
--Bent clutch fork
--worn pedal assembly
--air in the clutch system

Check your master cyl first, its usually the culprit, ive seen perfectly good master cyl's go bad within 50 miles of ACT 2600 driving. ACT's do wierd stuff to 1g's.

Good Luck
