A freind of mine is replacing my clutch. He said he drained the tranny fluid and noticed a lining on the top of the fluid. When usuing a magnetic pen small fragments of metal attached to the pen. I am not sure if the tranny fluid has ever been changed. Is this cause for concern or is this normal?

They are probably fragments of synchronizers, which are not good, but are relatively normal
