Princeton,
I can't get my trans to go it, I do not have the input shaft disconected so I am thinking maybe they is causeing it not to go in easy, I can get it hald on the dowles but's it's so hard, took it off and there was all there scrapes on the cluctch cover. any help or tips

Getting a 5 speed transmission in is pretty tough to do. Did you use a clutch alignment tool to align the clutch disk? Its basically like threading a needle. I had to rig up a pully sistem in my garage to make it easier. I'm afraid all I can say is use a clutch alignment tool and try your best to line it all up.

no the clutch I used a clutch alignment tool to put in the clutch and it looks pretty straight. anyone have any hot tips??

Well you can always kick it and call it vulgar names.... I think thats what worked for me....LOL But now its taken a crap again!

Yeah. There pretty ignorant. I remember I got the transmission almost in. But it was a little crooked. I pryed on the flywheel shield and it slid in for some reason. I dunno. But than again I was doing some name calling and kicking directed toward the tranny. That might have done it instead of the prying.

Always check clutch plate on an input shaft before instalation
tighten clutch evenly and in centre of fingers and feel around pressure plate then with adequet lighting rotate motor and check for centreing you will be surprise how much this trick will show missalighnment.
never twist or force 90% preparation 10% effort. You will bend clutch plate ,hudder clunk clunk.
special tools are a luxery.

rotating motor and leaving box in gear can help
