ok, so i found out y my car sometimes stalls when stopping with the clutch pushed in, after pulling my stock intake off to build a new one i found that the bushing that connects my clutch line to my transmission is completely blown out, u can move the outer ring around freely, its somewhat still on the bushing and isnt going to completly fall off, but it slips around randomly making my clutch not fully disengage, if its flopped to 1 side the clutch grabs normaly, if it shifts to the other it doesnt

so i need a new bushing, im wondering if prothane(or anyone else) make a urathane bushing for it, i remember a thread a while back where someone had a link to somewhere selling metal shifter linkage bushings for about $20, that would be fine too, although i think id rather have urathane ones, but im not sure if u can buy them without getting the entire set for the whole car, the clutch and shifter bushing are just about the exact same size so a shifter one will work for the clutch, im just going to buy them for both the shifter and the clutch while im at it, the shift linkage bushing doesnt look like it has much life left on it

if anyone has a link to somewhere selling the metal or urathane bushings for the clutch\shifter linkage to the tranny id really appriciate it if u posted it, its not a huge problem but it makes me miss shifts when it doesnt fully disengage and sometimes it will do it when im at a stop and its really hard to get into 1st gear, i think the engine vibrating makes the bushing shake, so its the luck of the draw as to if it will be where its supposed to when i push the clutch in
thanks in advance for any help

For the shifter linkage bushings you can replace them with Rollerblade style bearings. they fit right in when you use a C-Clamp and are a perfect fit, gets rid of a lot of slop!

roller blade berrings? sounds like it might be ok, anything solid should work, and the clutch one is just about the exact same size as the shifter, the clutch is the one im most worried about
can u explain how u would go about putting it in wih a c clamp, i dont quite undersand what ur sayng

you have to press in the rollerblade bearings using a c-clamp, because it is a tight fit. gets rid of a lot of slop though.
