I don't know if its my clutch or slave cylindar but when I'm at a red light and then it changes to green I have to tap my gas pedal in order for me to pop the car into first gear (I always take my car out of gear when I'm at a stop).

I doubt its my slave cylindar because from what I understand, faulty cylindars tend to leak and my car has no mysterious leaks. My car has over 90K and I'm still on my stock clutch. OMG

Just the other day I was coming off the freeway when I realized my clutch pedal was on the floor! I had to lift it but when I did the pressure returned and all was fine (not to be mistaken w/ the signs of crankwalk).

Is my clutch after all this time starting to die? Is the problem I'm having associated w/ the stop light due to a slipping clutch?

thanks guys

I'm think it is a hydraulic problem. Although you said there are no noticable leaks coming from the slave cylinder, have you pulled the boot back and looked inside for any fluid? The master cylinder could be leaking as well, look around where the plunger is on the floorboard in the car and see if any fluid is coming out. If all of that is ok I would try bleeding the clutch. Good luck.
