Transfer case compatibility

I own a 95 eclipse GSX and I'm looking for a transfer case. I read somewhere that the 1g 23 spline cases are interchangeable with the 2g 23 spline, is this true? If so, will the driveline bolt up the same?

im pretty sure that there isnt a difference between the 1G 23 slpine and the 2G 23 spline. Im pretty sure that any transfer case from a 93+ eclipse/talon
