It seems its just one problem after the next any way I cant get the drivers side axle bolt off Ive broken 3 breaker bars on it and im getting so tired of fighting it please help me with possible alternatives ive tried the breaker bars and ive tried a toarch and they both didnt even budge it! One more question if I take off the shock from the lower conrol arm will I need a spring compressor??? Thanks to any feedback gene

before you go to bed at night spray the shit out of the nut with some pd baster or wd-40..let it soak in all night....then get a good breaker bar and line it up so its running parrell with the car and jump on it....ive done it this way on several cars and it works...

i recently took mine off and get both of the with an impact though.

and no you dont need a spring compressor to unbolt the shock from the control arm..you will need one to take the spring off the shock though

If jumping on it breaks the bar again, either get a better breaker bar, (with lifetime warranty because apparently you need it) :) or instead of jumping on it, stand on it and bounce up and down. It puts less pressure and strain on the bar and nut, but 20 minutes of that should crack it loose. It's not much fun balancing on the bar against the car for 20 minutes, but it beats not getting the nut off at all.

I had to heat and bounce on mine about 4 times before it came loose... the nut was so rusted and corroded, it had almost disinigrated by the end.

Hey guys forgot on thing what do you use for holding the axle from turning i was using a wrench in between the slot in the brake and the caliper is there a better way????

Impact is the easiest way to go. Had to use one to get the axle nut off. Took a few minutes before it broke it loose. As for not having the axle spin, just place a prybar in between the lug nuts and lay it on the ground. Shouldn't budge a bit.

Make sure you keep the impact on hand...you'll need it.:D
