I smoked the clutch in my car so tis the season. I have a lightly modded '95 gsx but have big plans next summer. I know im getting a ACT 2600 street disk. I have read through some of the posts and read bad things about puck disks so I am going to go with the street. I do light drag racing and much more regular driving. I am also wondering where the best deal is at for these clutches.

Thanks in advance.

Invest in nothing else until you get a fully built 6 bolt bottom end ready to drop into that car, money spent in other places would be a waste when the motor does its little dance number on you.

Its all in the works just a little finacial problem to get out of the way. Like paying off the loan. But hey the army guard is happy to give me lots of money and pay for all my college. I just have to make it through basic. :thumb: I read through the forums and got the felling that this clutch would be the best choice for me now. I think I may be taking the tranny out this weekend. The person who sold me the car said "yeah theres and 2600 and 6 puck in there" we shall see.

I was out racing a fellow gsx last thursday nite. It didn't really start slipping until the drive home about an hour later. Its fine in 1st-2nd but the rest slip if you give it any gas. So the clutch must have gotten a weebit to hot and glazed the surface. opps. Launching in an awd is tricky. :D I'll get it eventually.

I had some address problems with my credit card on prostreet. Nobodys fault just a bug in the system I supose. But this is good. I would like to see what is in there now. Just ordering a new disk would be awsome. (remember I have no money)
