Well, here is the end product of some fun donuts gone bad....
Center diff. grenading a hole in the bellhousing.....

That is not the center diff. That is the front diff. Mine did the same thing at 100 mph... Mine was caused by a small pin that holds the spider gear shaft from spinning... the pin sheared and allowed the spider gear shaft to spin, therefore heat up and crack in half.

Do you have any parts for a 97 fwd eclipse tranny. The same thing happend to me but to my fwd at the track. Thanks Miguel

nah man sorry i only have 1g awd trannies right now. maybe later i might get some 2g trannies or fwd ones but as of right now no.

That sucks. Mine grenaded and did go kill the trans housing. While were talk what bad to do with your awd trans. Just broken in 2600 and side stepping a 6500 lauch lots of fun aslong as there is no wheel hop.
And don't forget that 3rd gear is also a weak spot.
