Is 700$ too much for a clutch swap and clutch hose swap on an AWD Talon? My Miata was 350$ for the labor , so this car being double that is pretty strange. Anybody know a place in Austin Texas that does a good job for cheap?

It's more of a pain to swap it on the AWD but damn 700 seems high. I wish you were here I'd do it for 700. Hehehe! Aren't there any other shops you could call? I would suggest that you invest in the tools necessary to do this kind of work yourself. DSM's need all kinds of attention and I couldn't imagine always having to pay somebody to do the work, you'll end up broke!!! :)

Misc hand tools
4-high lift jack stands
1-good high lift jack
It only takes me about 2.5 - 3 hours to take it out and put it in without power tools, by myself, and without a lift.
