MY buddy bought a fwd and wanted to know if he could make it an awd drive like mine. It is a 91 turbo talon. Thankyou for any help.

Anything is posible! Does your friend have a shop, metal working tools, and lots of time on his hands? I think almost anybody on this board will tell you its not worth it. Tell him to buy an AWD if he wants AWD!

Has there ever been a conversion, I thought the rear strut towers were in different spots

I think there was somebody on here thats done it. The strut towers probably are in the wrong locations but you could just cut that out with a torch and fab up what ever you needed if you've got the tools and skills!

This has been done on a 2g fwd spyder - awd spyder but your creating more problems than it's worth. If I remember correctly it cost somewhere around $6,000 :barf: - so why not sell the fwd and buy an awd if that is what you're lookin for.
