Ok, Yesterday I was driving and everything was fine. I went to put it into 2nd gear and it gave me a hard time going in. So I replaced the master cyl. And it still dose it. I pulled the tranny last night in my driveway and checked the clutch fork and pp and tob. all looks good. It is still giving me a hard time going into any gear. I half to doubble sometimes triple clutch it to go in smooth.. What could be wrong with it????? Is the pp fingers worn and not disingauging the clutch all the way..

have you checked to see if the slave cylinder is doing its job? make sure it is pushing all the way? Its also only second gear though right? That doesn't sound like a clutch engage/ disengagment problem cause it would be shitty in all gears. With the car not moving will it go in second? Possibly a worn or bent 1-2 shift fork maybe? Mine did this too and it ended up being a extremely worn 1-2 shift fork. If you pull it out of 2nd push it over towards center and then brought it down to 2nd it would go in. Try and let me know what happens. And you did bleed the clutch really well, right?.............

it does it in all gears. But only while the car is moving. if I am sitting still with the car running it will go into gear but it is hard to get it in. When driving when you push the clutch in and try and take it out of gear it sticks while comming out. like the clutch isnt all the way down. The act 2600 that i have has been in my car for almost 2 years. So i think the fingers are just worn out to much to release the clutch all the way..

My 2600 has been abused for the last 5 yrs and its still works decent. You can try adjusting it all under the dash at the master cylinder or maybe the master is bad. When you push the pedal in it might be pushing fluid out the daiphram instead of pushing it through the line. Check to see the floor and fire wall near the pedals ( inside the car ) aren't wet with fluid. Check the slave around the dust boot and see if its wet maybe its the one thats leaking. And don't feel bad mines doing this right now too...............

I have checked and replaced all hydrolics. it wasnt them. I droped the tranny and found a clutch disc that was falling apart. so i am off to get another one..
