I just ordered an ACT2100 clutch and a steel-braided line from slowboyracing and I was just wondering what experience anybody has had with this combination. I actually LIKE a heavier and firmer feel to the clutch pedal, so will the SS line do a good job of firming up the pedal feel? I'm just looking for some general feedback about the feel of the ACT2100 and SS lines, thanks in advance.

the ss braided clutch doesnt make it any firmer it makes the clutch engage a little quicker... i'd still highly reccomend it, on my car the stock line that was replaced by the ss line was always leaking.

i also have the act 2100, and i like it also :thumb:

I have a ACT 2100 and I put in a SS braided line from my experience I would reccomend doin this for a couple reasons, One less rubber line that flexs, It will allow you to remove and bypass your ecumulator which gives you more feedback and quicker engagement. I like the feel of the extra feedback how ever it just barely got stiffer. P.S. The removal of the ecumaltor is what increases engagement speed and feedback, not the steel line.

sorry bout bringing back an old post but I just bought the one from slowboy, does this line go all the way from the master cyl. to the slave?or do i still need the steel line? just trying to get an idea on how this is going to bolt up.
