1g transfer case question

I was replacing my oil in my transfer case with Redline, and I was wondering how much oil goes in the transfer case? I was able to get about 1/2 quart in, does that seem right? I though that it was more of 1.6quarts any help would be great.

haynes manula says .3 quarts so that seems more like it
