BIG difference??? Probably not, but that depends on how bad your non-LSD rear launch is now.

You need the axles and the 4 bolt cups. Then it's a direct replacement.

4 bolt rear install

I would say you will notice little or no difference in launching or putting power down. Basically it's just insurance if you are going to be launching the car hard or drag racing. The 3bolt just won't hold up to the lauches that the 4bolt will.

Look at the link Rick posted just 2 posts up from yours. It has some comparison pictures of the axle cups.

No. Both the 3 and 4 bolt rear ends use 4 bolts to attach the driveline to them. Look on the backside of one of your rear wheels, where the axle meets the hub. You will see where the end of the axle is bolted to the hub and there will be three bolts there, since your car was built pre- 1992.5. Check out the link in one of the above posts and you will see pictures and a very in depth explaination of the differences between the rear ends and why one would want to swap to a 4 bolt and exactly what parts are needed.
