im doing a manual conversion and some guy has a manual tranny for sale for 200.00 with 141,00 miles on it and he said it shifted smoothe.so does it sound like a good deal?and how long do they normally last?also how much is it to rebuild a manual

can someone answer my ques i need to know by tommorow

Trannies can last forever, it depends on how much abuse it's taken, as with anything else in life. If the tranny shifts good like the guy says, $200 is a good deal. ANd it's roughly $1500-$1900 for a full rebuild including some common upgrades, (stronger shift forks, double synchros, etc)
