Hey guys, here's my situation:

I have serious thumping and howling/whirring coming from the rear of my car. I literally replaced my whole rear subframe with all the bushings and this didn't help. I needed a 4bolt rear with new bushings anyway so it just made sense.

So I jacked the car up on all fours and I noticed there's a good amount of play in the driveshaft especially where the carrier bearings are. This leads me to believe it's the carrier bearings and I need to do the driveshaft thump fix right?

Well, the previous owner did the driveshaft thump fix with the damn driveshaft still bolted on and the boots are all dry rotted and look like hell. Is there a part number for the rubber cover?

Besides keeping the driveshaft in balance, are there any tips I should know? There should be 0 play in the driveshaft after it's done?

I'll be ordering:

2x MB505495 - "Center Bearings" from JNZ tuning
3x PDQ 1-1557 Universal Joints from Autozone
1x 3M Window Cement from Advanced Auto for thump fix round 2

Can I get the rubber/circular mounts anywhere?

Thanks in advance. :dsm:
