getting trans open????

can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get my trans open? i need the replace the sleeve that the tob rides on. i just want to romove the bell housing side and exchange it with the one off my old trans. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know the same thing. I tried pulling my trans apart, and got stuck about 3/4 inch apart.

You have to take the whole trans apart to get down to that section. Also you might have to reshim the trans when you replace the bellhousing section. But here is a link to how to take it apart.
